Do I have to use the repairer recommended by my insurance company?

No, you don’t have to use your insurer’s recommended repairer. Some insurers may request 2 quotes, bring your car in and we’ll send a quote directly to the insurer.

Is there a warranty on the vehicle repairs performed by Peter Kittle Collision repair centre?

Peter Kittle Collision Repair Centre guarantees the repairs made to your vehicle, as reflected in your final estimate, against any defects of workmanship. We stand behind every collision repair we complete and are proud to offer a Guarantee on all of our work.

For as long as you own the vehicle, you can rest assured that should anything happen to the repair we completed, we’ll make it right

Who do I pay my insurance excess to?

Your excess payment is collected by us, your repairer, on behalf of your insurance company. This excess needs to be paid once the repairs have been completed and you collect your car.

Peter Kittle Collision Repair Centre will remove your excess payment off of the bill and your insurance company pays the balance. Should your Insurer ask you to pay the excess in advance and you do so, please let us know that it has been paid.

Which methods of payment do you accept?

We accept VISA & MasterCard. We also have EFTPOS facilities and will accept cash, unfortunately we don’t accept cheques.

Do we provide loan cars?

We can organise a loan car for you. Simply let our booking staff know and we’ll arrange to have a car ready for you when you drop your own car off.

Can I have regular updates during the repair process?

Of course! Throughout the repair process you can choose to be updated by telephone, SMS or email. Please advise our office of your preferred method of contact when you come in, or phone our office on 8256 5277 and let us know how often you require updates.

How will I know that my car is ready?

We will advise you as soon as your repairs are completed. Feel free to call or email our office at any time during the repair process if you have any questions or concerns.

Do you have a dedicated customer area if I need to wait for any reason?

We have a modern, climate controlled customer care area where you can sit in comfort should you arrive early or need to wait for any reason. Daily newspapers and up-to-date reading material are also available for you to read while you enjoy a fresh cup of tea or coffee, made to your liking.
